POLICY.
1. Who we are
Start Anyway is a pre-launch mobile app project by Abhishek Paatni ("we", "us"). This document explains how we handle information in connection with our pre-launch website at startanyway.vercel.app. You can reach us at thepaatni@gmail.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies only to this pre-launch website and its interactive prototype/demo. The Start Anyway mobile app has not been released. When it launches, it will have its own, complete privacy policy that governs the app itself.
3. Information we collect
- Email you choose to send us. The "save my spot" and "tell me when it's live" buttons open your own email app to send us a message. If you send it, we receive your email address and anything you write, in our inbox. This site has no form that silently stores your data on a server.
- Basic technical logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically processes standard technical data — such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — to serve and protect the site.
- Fonts. We load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser requests them from Google, which may process your IP address under Google's own policies.
- The interactive prototype. It runs entirely in your browser as a demo. Anything you type into it stays on your device and is not sent to us.
- No cookies or trackers. This site does not set its own cookies and does not run advertising or analytics trackers.
4. How we use information
We use the email you send us only to (a) reply to you, and (b) let you know about Start Anyway's launch and early access, if you asked us to. Nothing more.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your information. We rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf so the site can work: Vercel (hosting) and Google (Gmail for our inbox, and Google Fonts). Links to third-party sites — such as our founder's Instagram — are governed by those sites' own policies, not this one.
6. Data retention
We keep the emails you send us until launch, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first — after which we either move them into the app's proper systems or delete them.
7. Your choices & rights
You can email us any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If you emailed us to join the early-access list, you can ask to be removed at any time.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). Please do not use it if you are under that age.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure.
10. Changes to this policy
Because we are pre-launch, this policy is interim and may change as the product takes shape. The final version will be published when the app launches on the App Store and Play Store.
